Owner of Legoland Malaysia Considers Selling The Entire Theme Park

Legoland Malaysia, located in the southern state of Johor, is owned by a Khazanah unit and operated by Merlin Entertainments Plc.

It’s the first Lego-themed park in Asia, covering an area equivalent to over 50 soccer fields with more than 15,000 Lego models made from over 60 million bricks.

The park could be valued at around one billion ringgit (US$245 million)

However, the sovereign wealth fund’s managing director Shahril Ridza Ridzuan told a press conference that Khazanah had not yet received any offers for Legoland.

“We are not in talks with anyone at this point of time,” he said.
